The IT movie sequel already has a release date.
Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have announced the IT movie sequel will be released September 6, 2019, written by Gary Dauberman and directed by Andy Muschietti, the director of the first film.
The IT movie sequel will also see the child actors return.
IT debuted this past September 8th to rave reviews and box office appeal. It currently sits at over $478 million worldwide and was this past weekend’s #2 movie at the box office.
IT will also be getting a director’s cut.
IT stars Bill Skarsgard as Pennwise the Clown, Finn Wolfhard, Owen Teague, Jaeden Lieberher, Nicholas Hamilton, Steven Williams, Megan Charpentier, Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Stephen Bogaert, Ari Cohen, Jack Grazer, Chosen Jacobs and Javier Botet.
