Yesterday Cosmic Book News broke the news that Iron Fist has a writer on board, and now it’s learned the actor to play Iron Fist has been cast.
Luke Cage actor Mike Colter told the Collider the following:
The actor has been cast, but he’s in a basement somewhere. When the time is right, they’ll let him up and tell him where he is. I am [excited]. I’ll get a nice little break, after doing Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Whether I’m in [his show], I don’t know, but there’s The Defenders.
No premiere date has yet been announced for Iron Fist; Daredevil Season 2 premieres March 18th; Luke Cage is speculated to debut in Novmeber, and Jessica Jones has also been announced to be getting a Season 2.
