The cast for Chad Stahelski’s Highlander reboot keeps expanding.
THR reports Siobhán Cullen, Jun Jong-seo, Nassim Lyes, and Kevin McKidd have joined the film, adding even more star power to the already stacked lineup.
Henry Cavill leads the movie as Connor MacLeod, with Russell Crowe as Ramirez, Dave Bautista as Kurgan, and Karen Gillan as Heather, Cavill’s mortal wife. Marisa Abela is said to be playing an immortal warrior and Cavill’s modern-day romantic interest, with Jeremy Irons as a villain and the leader of The Watchers. Djimon Hounsou is an immortal warrior from Africa. Max Zhang, and WWE’s Drew McIntyre also confirmed.

Who’s Playing Who
Regarding the newly announced cast additions:
Siobhán Cullen plays a police psychiatrist who uncovers the truth about immortals and becomes an ally to MacLeod.
Jun Jong-seo is part of The Watchers, the secret order monitoring immortals — another direct nod to the Adrian Paul TV series.
Nassim Lyes stars as an immortal hunting MacLeod.
Kevin McKidd’s role is not yet revealed.
These additions reinforce the scale of the reboot and the broader world Stahelski is building, one that blends the original film’s mythos with major elements from the TV series, including The Watchers.

Production Delayed After Cavill Injury
Production was initially slated for this fall, but filming has been pushed to early 2026 after Henry Cavill sustained an ankle injury during pre-production training.

Returning to the Highlander Legacy
The original 1986 film starred Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery and became a cult classic, spawning sequels and the beloved Adrian Paul TV series. Stahelski and Amazon MGM’s United Artists banner now hold full rights to the franchise and have hinted at potential spinoffs, including a possible series.
