Henry Cavill Shows Off ‘The Witcher’ Poster and Men’s Health Images

The latest issue of Men’s Health sports a featured article with Superman actor Henry Cavill who also recently showed off a new poster for the upcoming Netflix series, The Witcher.

Regarding Men’s Health, Henry Cavill posted images from the magazine on Instagram noting: “Check out the latest Men’s Health this month where I lounge, splash, chill and throw cards….yes, you heard it right, I will be throwing cards. You lucky things you. The most exciting thing about this issue however, is that the masterful trainer Dave Rienzi joins us to help explain some of my training techniques throughout the filming of the Witcher! Thank you, Mr Rienzi, for your time and your knowledge!”

Henry also commented about playing Superman in the article offering he isn’t going to give up on the role.

“The cape is in the closet,” Cavill tells Men’s Health. “It’s still mine. I’m not going to sit quietly in the dark as all the stuff is going on. I’ve not given up on the role. There’s a lot I have to give for Superman yet. A lot of storytelling to do. A lot of real, true depths to the honest of the character I wasn’t to get into. I want to reflect the comic books. That’s important to me. There’s a lot of justice to be done for Superman. The status is: You’ll see.”

The Man of Steel actor also offered some thoughts on his three DCEU films.

“[Man of Steel?] A great starting point. If I were to go back, I don’t think I’d change anything. [Batman v Superman?] Very much a Batman movie. And I think that realm of darkness is great for a Batman movie. [Justice League?] It didn’t work,” he said.

It’s also rumored that Henry Cavill may return as Superman in Black Adam 2 with Dwayne Johnson.

Henry Cavill stars in The Witcher
