Henry Cavill is talking about Superman again.
In a new interview with Heat magazine, Cavill reflected on playing the Man of Steel and what the role meant to him.
While the comments are not tied to any official return, they land at a time when SnyderVerse talk has picked up again, and Zack Snyder has been posting new Justice League content ahead of the film’s five-year anniversary.

Cavill said one of the best parts about playing Superman is how kids react to him in real life.
“It’s fantastic when kids recognize me because they don’t see you as the actor who plays the superhero, they see you as actual Superman,” Cavill said.
He also said the role came with a bigger responsibility than simply making the movie.
“When you take on an iconic role like that, I think there is a real responsibility, not just for the movie itself, but how you interact with the huge fanbase,” Cavill added.
Those comments may not reveal anything new about Cavill’s future, but they do show that Superman still means something to him.

The timing makes Cavill’s Superman comment stand out even more.
Zack Snyder has been posting a series of Justice League images and teases on Instagram ahead of the March 18 anniversary of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. That has fueled more fan speculation about the SnyderVerse, Cavill’s Superman, and whether anything could still happen down the line.
We’ve also heard that the SnyderVerse could return at Paramount, with Henry Cavill potentially involved as Superman.
So while Cavill is not talking about a comeback, hearing him mention Superman again comes as Snyder’s recent posts are already putting the spotlight back on that era.

Cavill also talked about the physical side of Superman
Cavill also touched on what it took physically to play the role.
“For Superman, it could be 5,000-calorie days of pure protein and in the gym six days a week,” he said.
He added that things are not as intense when he is not filming, but he still tries to eat well and stay fit.
