Henry Cavill Talks DC vs. Marvel; Jason Momoa Wants Crossover

A heated debate online is always DC vs. Marvel with fans pitting their favorite actors, characters and movies against each other.

Case in point is this month with Marvel Studios releasing Thor: Ragnarok and DC releasing Justice League.

Henry Cavill responds to questioning about the feud and offers up it’s really more of a fan thing.

“I think the rivalry lives in the fans more so than it does in us,” Henry Cavill said. “For all of us who are making these movies. I’m sure for the comic book artists, the writers… there have been rivals in the past, but now it’s just about celebrating these characters. Certainly for us. I mean I’m sure when it comes to the deep finances, when it comes to DC and Marvel, there is always going to be competition. Yeah. But they need each other to survie as well. If one goes down, that means super heroes aren’t popular. And you don’t want that, because if one goes down the other goes down.”

Jason Momoa DC Vs Marvel

“I would love to [crossover],” Jason Momoa added. “Hell, yeah. I mean like [Chris Hemsworth]. I love him. And then it’s like to be next Thor, to be next to the Hulk and be like [looks up].”

Both actors then laugh about the possibility with Jason Momoa offering up he would drown the Marvel character, and Momoa makes a motion of Aquaman dunking their heads underwater.

“Smashing me all over the place. It would be fun,” Momoa said.

“It’s been done in comic books, and I think once the story starts to… or people start to feel like they seen it all before… yeah. I’m sure there is something there in the future,” Cavill said.
