In a series of social media posts, Henry Cavill reveals heâs cooking! Could it be to play Marvelâs Wolverine?!
Henry first posted that heâs cooking on social media with the release of Deadpool & Wolverine.
Deadpool & Wolverine release
In what may be no coincidence, on Thursday, July 25, which coincided with the Deadpool & Wolverine Comic-Con panel revealing the cameo actorsâand just one day before the filmâs releaseâHenry posted an image of himself cooking and reading a book.
âDoesnât get much better than this!â he said, adding, âIâd like to thank Aaron Dembski-Bowden, Mother Nature, Matt the Gardener, coffee, and BBQ for allowing me to have this moment #IReadGood #NatureGreen #SmokingMeats.â
Itâs possible that Henry might have actually been referring to playing Wolverine, rather than cooking, when he said, âIt doesnât get much better than this.â
Official look
Henryâs next post would be a week and a half later when he would reveal the first official look at his Wolverine.
âTo be safe, I shaved the moustache off for this one. Just the moustache,â he joked referencing Superman in the Justice League movie.Â
That day, we would post what our Comic-Con insiders told us, that Henry Cavill is indeed in talks to play Marvelâs Wolverine.
Ryan Reynolds takes note
Now three days ago, Henry has posted that he is cooking for the second time,
âSunday Shteak. Smoked on the Yoder and Seared on the Green Egg #BigAssTomahawk,â he said.
Ryan Reynolds saw the post on Instagram and even made a comment, teasing, âThe CavillRine!â
Itâs known that Reynolds is the one who came up with Henryâs nickname in Deadpool & Wolverine, âThe Cavillerine.â

What else does Henry Cavill have cooking?
Henry will be starring in The Highlander reboot which is supposed to start filming next year in Scotland with John Wick director Chad Stahelski.
IMDb also lists Henry Cavill is in pre-production on Steve Falkâs The Rosie Project, described as: An unlucky-in-love university professor creates an elaborate questionnaire in an effort to find a wife and meets an unconventional woman who doesnât match any of his ârequirementsâ, but might be the perfect woman for him.
Heâs said to be back for Netflixâs Enola Holmes 3 as Sherlock Holmes, which stars Millie Bobby Brown. Heâs also said to have finished filming on In the Grey, Guy Ritchieâs latest movie about which revolves around two extraction specialists who have to designate a route of escape for a senior female negotiator, which also stars Eiza GonzĂĄlez, and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Letâs not also forget that Henry has a bun in the over. Heâs announced he is going to be a father.

What about the Warhammer series?
Things have been real quiet regarding Henryâs Warhammer series that he is supposed to be developing at Amazon Prime Video.
Actually, thereâs rumors itâs not even going to happen as it is claimed Henry wants to keep Warhammer close to the source material (heâs a huge fan) but various execs want to go a different route.
The franchise is taking a lot of heat from fans for going woke, so as we seen with The Witcher, it could very well be that Henry wonât do Warhammer if it doesnât meet his high standards. It could also leave him room to play the MCUâs new Wolverine.
