Hellboy Movie Gets A Release Date

Following yesterday’s first look images at David Harbour as Hellboy, now Lionsgate has announced the release date for the film.

The new Hellboy movie will be released January 11, 2019.

Hellboy is being directed by Neil Marshall starring David Harbour as the titular character, Ian McShane as Professor Broom, Milla Jovivich as Nimue the Blood Queen, Sasha Lane plays Alice Monghan and Penelope Mitchell will play the role of Ganeida, an elder witch.

The Hellboy reboot script is being worked on by Aron Coleite from a draft by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola.

The film is said to be about Hellboy going to England, where he must defeat Nimue, Merlin’s consort and the Blood Queen. But their battle will bring about the end of the world, a fate he desperately tries to turn away.
