Netflix releases a teaser for The Haunting Of Hill House Season 2 teasing that it takes place at a new location in addition to announcing the series will return in 2020.
“The Haunting continues,” the video teases. “With a new chapter. From visionary director Mike Flanagan. The Haunting Of —. You’re expected 2020.”
As we see, the video doesn’t reveal what the title will be for the second season as it will be featured at a new haunted house, but Netflix released a press release announcing the title to be The Haunting of Bly Manor with news the series will be in an anthology format (similar to American Horror Story). It’s also confirmed that the second season is taking place at the setting of the Henry James novella, The Turn of the Screw, which is a gothic ghost story about two orphans being looked after by a young governess.
“Netflix has been an important part of our story, and we’re proud to have worked with them on The Haunting of Hill House, not to mention Gerald’s Game, Hush, and Before I Wake,” the pair said in a statement. “They’ve enabled and supported a great deal of our work and we look forward to much more.”
