Halloween: Riverdale Stars Dress As Gotham City Sirens

Happy Halloween! Check out three stars of the Riverdale TV series dressing as DC’s Gotham City Sirens!

Over the weekend, Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, and Lili Reinhart dressed as the three DC Comics characters while attending a Halloween party.

Mendes is Catwoman, Petsch is Poison Ivy, and Reinhart is Harley Quinn.

“Oh, come on, Puddin’! Don’t you wanna rev up your Harley?” teased Reinhart on Instagram.

What is the Gotham City Sirens?

The first issue of the comic book was released in 2009 by writer Paul Dini and artist Guillem March as a part of the Batman: Reborn relaunch.

The plot of Gotham City Sirens follows the tumultuous events of “Heart of Hush,” “Batman R.I.P.,” “Final Crisis,” and “Battle for the Cowl,” where Hush cuts out Catwoman’s heart. Batman retrieves the heart and with the aid of Zatanna’s magic, Catwoman is healed. Fuelled by vengeance, Catwoman steals all of Hush’s money. She redistributes the stolen funds among Gotham City’s female criminals, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, and Holly Robinson. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne is presumed dead, and the mantle of Batman is assumed by Dick Grayson.
