GTA 6 Woke: ‘Less Crude Towards Transgenders and Minorities’

Nobody saw this coming, right?! But it looks as if it’s #RIPGTA6!

According to a new report from Bloomberg, Rockstar Games “is asking its writers to be less crude toward transgender people and other minorities, the common targets of throwaway gags in previous versions.”

GTA 6 is known for its no holds barred approach, but it appears as if the DEI crowd is changing the game.

Prior to the GTA 6 trailer release, which is expected by gamers some time this month, the article offers updates about Grand Theft Auto VI.

Thanks to a user on X, the article offers:

  • No mention of a release date change (so hopefully still on track for Fall 2025).
  • The game has missed multiple deadlines so far.
  • GTA 6 has been in development for a decade but only really entered full production after RDR2 released in 2018.
  • The game will be less crude towards transgenders and other minorities.
  • Game publishers are waiting to commit to release dates for their games given the astronomical hype for GTA 6. They want to see if it’ll still release in 2025 or slip into 2026.
  • The 2022 hack forced Rockstar to be less lenient on remote work and return the devs back to the offices five days a week.
  • Reiterating that Rockstar changed their work culture and ousted several executives after the RDR2 crunch controversy.

Is GTA 6 woke?

Obviously GTA 6 going woke isn’t confirmed as of yet, but recently saw That Park Place make a good case that it will be.

Among the details revealed by the site includes employees at Rockstar Games underwent woke training and were given DEI certifications.

As noted, there is also a shift in protagonists, as the main character will be a female. Of course, that doesn’t mean the game will be woke, but the female could very well be a lesbian with the game shitting all over the male counterpart and characters.

The franchise has also lost notable creatives, and Rockstar censored content in the Grand Theft Auto V: Expanded & Enhanced edition that apparently insulted the woke community.

Regarding the woke DEI certifications, That Park Place goes over how at least 60 employees completed a course called Unconscious Bias. The course is said to “focuses heavily on racial and gender dynamics” and make white people feel guilty for being white.
