No Steven DeKnight ‏For Green Lantern Corps

Currently in development at Warner Bros. includes a Green Lantern Corps movie from Dark Knight and Man of Steel writer David S. Goyer.

The project presently doesn’t have a director, but a fan questioned Steven S. DeKnight on social media about the possibility.

Steven S. DeKnight recently directed Pacific Rim Uprising and offered he is attached to the third movie, but that it depends on other factors, and he added he has “lots of more personal projects brewing in TV and film.”

Regarding Green Lantern Corps being one of those, Steven S. DeKnight said, “No. But that’d be cool.”

Yes, to the dismay of critics everywhere! But depends on many factors, most importantly my schedule. Lots of more personal projects brewing in TV and film. https://t.co/Qo4LZ3P1ei

Speaking of Pacific Rim Uprising, John Boyega also stated he’s not doing Green Lantern.

The latest on the Green Lantern Corps movie includes that Goyer reveal it’s still in the works, but it’s unknown when it will be happening.

“I don’t know. Who knows, especially with what’s currently going on with the DC universe? There’s obviously a whole recalibration happening with that right now,” Goyer said.

A recent rumor hit offering a big director is attached to a DCEU movie, with some fans suggesting Ridley Scott for GLC.

Any suggestions to direct Green Lantern Corps?
