Ghost Rider Agents Of SHIELD Comic Book Creator Featurette

Check out the creators of the car Ghost Rider visiting the set of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.

Writer Felipe Smith and artist Tradd Moore meet Gabriel Luna who is playing the Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider in the series. Smith and Moore note the Marvel TV people are keeping true to the comic book version of the character.

“These people on set, you can tell they really care,” Moore said.

“Yeah, they are keeping the essential aspects and the heart of the character and the theme, which you couldn’t ask for more as a creator,” Smith added.

Smith and Moore continue with talk of how the Agents of SHIELD special effects team adapted their comic book look for Ghost Rider.

“Those [comic book] things translated into the actual look of the [Agents of SHIELD Ghost Rider] skull and there is actually cracks that mimic the lines on the [comic book] engine skull,” Smith said. “There is the crack in the middle shaped like the [engine] blower, and even the eyes, and they also put in the burning embers for the eyes that give the skull expression, which is something, again, in comics, expression is really important.”

Both Smith and Moore also noted the creators of Agents of SHIELD are “just as involved and excited” as they are as comic book creators. Watch more in the video below.
