A first look at Rexy has leaked online through set images from Jurassic World 2!
First posted by an Instagram user and then on the Jurassic World 2 fan site, JurassicWorld2movie.com, the images feature Rexy, the Tyrannosauruses Rex from the previous movies, apparently housed in some sort of cage leading to speculation that Rexy gets captured. Â
Redditors have also posted the pics here and here.
As pointed out, Rexy is an animatronic for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, so the movie looks to be keeping the CGI to a minimum! Good thing!
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens June 22, 2018 directed by J.A. Bayona with a script from Derek Connolly, Michael Crichton and Colin Trevorrow and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeff Goldblum, Toby Jones, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith and Rafe Spall.
