Update #2: Iāve read the Spider-Man: Homecoming Junior Novelization myself, and the book makes no mention at all or even hints that Zendaya is Vultureās daughter.
Original Article:
With James Comey testifying, do we have more fake news (lol)?
Earlier today a rumor hit regarding Zendaya in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
No. Sheās apparently still not playing Mary Jane (TG).
A website reported that the Spider-Man: Homecoming Junior Novelization states Zendya is playing a character named Michelle Toomesāmeaning she is the daughter of Michael Keatonās Vulture.
However, apparently the Spider-Man: Homecoming Junior Novelization DOES NOT list the last name of Michelle in the book, and the rumor is false.
I havenāt read the book to verify for myself, but users on Tumblr and Reddit, who apparently have, are stating the book does not list Michelle as having the last name of āToomes.ā
Maybe the web site was āhopingā Zendaya was Vultureās daughter?!
If anyone has read the book, feel free to Tweet me on Twitter about it.

Update: I bought the Kindle version and did a search: There is no Michelle Toomes.
