Disney+ will debut its live-action Snow White on June 11. The film stars Rachel Zegler in the title role and features a reimagining of the 1937 animated classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Viewers can stream the new version and revisit the original on the platform.

The soundtrack features both classic songs like “Heigh-Ho” and “Whistle While You Work” and original music from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The duo, known for La La Land and The Greatest Showman, contribute new songs including “Waiting on a Wish,” performed by Zegler as Snow White.
Cast and Synopsis
Rachel Zegler plays Snow White, who escapes into the forest to get away from the Evil Queen, played by Gal Gadot. Along the way, she meets the seven dwarfs—Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Happy, Dopey, Grumpy, and Doc—who help her in her quest to restore the kingdom.

The original Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is also available on Disney+. It was Disney’s first full-length animated feature and is widely regarded as a landmark in film history.
Release info
Disney’s Snow White was originally released in theaters on March 19, 2025. The film brought in $205.5 million at the box office, which Disney considers a bust as it named the film in a recent investor report.
