Diane Lane Talks Justice League; Wants Scene With Aquaman’s Nicole Kidman

Superman’s mom, and the focus of all the controversy surrounding that one particular Batman vs. Superman scene, Diane Lane who plays Martha Kent, will be back for Justice League in November.

THR caught up with Diane Lane who really couldn’t say too much about Justice League.

“I don’t think I’m allowed to talk much about it. But it was good for me, selfishly, to have a reunion with everyone and meeting some of the new characters,” Diane Lane said.

Diane Lane did offer she would like to appear in a scene alongside Aquaman’s mom, Nicole Kidman, who is playing Atlanna for James Wan.

“I want a scene with Nicole, that’s what I really want. Perhaps in another [sequel]!” Lane added.

Regarding the controversial scene in Batman vs. Superman, Diane Lane says she understands the “Martha” moment completely.

“It’s the compassion for a man who’s lost his mother. When you understand the wound, you can work better with people,” she said.

Justice League hits November 17th; Aquaman starring Jason Momoa has an October 5, 2018 release.

Maybe we’ll see both Diane Lane and Nicole Kidman in Justice League 2 or even Man of Steel 2
