DC Vs. Watchmen Teased by Geoff Johns & Dan DiDio

DC Vs. Watchmen Teased by Geoff Johns & Dan DiDio

It looks as if DC Comics is planning a big event for 2017 with DC vs. Watchmen.

DC president Geoff Johns teased a return to writing DC Comics on Twitter with an image of Doctor Manhattan. Johns recently wrote the big DC Rebirth issue which made Watchmen canon to universe of DC Comics.

Likewise on Facebook, DC Comics co-publisher Dan DiDio responded to DC Entertainment president Diane Nelson’s Facebook post of, “What’s to do in ’17 that hasn’t been done? That will be fun!!” with, “DC Universe meets the Watchmen!”

The Rebirth event teased that Doctor Manhattan was seemingly responsible for the DC Universe, and Batman also discovered the Watchmen smiley face in the Batcave.

On a side note, Zack Snyder has also been casting a lot of Watchmen movie actors in the DCEU movies.
