Dave Bautista has been the most vocal of the cast following director James Gunn getting fired from Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and Marvel Studios.
The actor that plays Drax the Destroyer for three Marvel movies has been blasting Disney on Twitter and those responsible for unearthing Gunn’s tweets from ten years ago about pedophilia and rape.
Recently while appearing on the Jonathan Ross Show, the Drax-actor let it be known that Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is on an indefinite hold, and now video from the show hits the net where Dave Bautista questions if he wants to continue to work for Disney, which would obviously also mean Marvel Studios.
“Yeah, there is a bit of an issue,” Dave Bautista responded to being asked if he might not do Guardians of the Galaxy 3. “It’s a bitter sweet conversation. No. It’s a bitter, bitter conversation because I’m not really happy with what they’ve done with James Gunn.”

Bautista then mentions how Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is presently on hold permanently with mention he may not return to Disney and Marvel.
“They are putting the movie off. It’s on hold indefinitely,” he said. “To be honest, I don’t know if I want to work for Disney. I’ve been very vocal about the way I feel. I’m not afraid to admit the way I feel.”
It’s then remarked that Bautista voicing his thoughts is pretty unusual for Hollwood.
“Well, I don’t think I’m your typical Hollywood guy,” Bautista said.
Kevin Hart was also on the show added, “Good for you, man.”
“That’s just how I feel,” Dave Bautista said.

Regarding Dave Bautista not coming back for Guardians of the Galaxy 3, a previous report did state that all the actors are contractually obligated to return, and if they didn’t, the actors could face legal repercussions. Bautista did previously say if they don’t use James Gunn’s script he wants out of the role and that they could either cut or recast Drax.
Most recently also saw Dave Bautista suggest that as a result of James Gunn getting fired, things could change for the Guardians of the Galaxy in Avengers 4.
Regarding the future of Guardians of the Galaxy 3, as Bautista noted, it seems to be presently up in the air as the movie was originally supposed to start filming February 2019 and be released in 2020. It has been reported Disney is searching for a new director, which could further add to the delay if the script needs to be tweaked.
