Dave Bautista Wants In Suicide Squad 2 James Gunn

Earlier today saw the big news that Warner Bros. has signed James Gunn to write Suicide Squad 2, and now Dave Bautista wants in!

Dave Bautista, who has been the most outspoken person about James Gunn getting fired, takes to Twitter to react to the news.

“Where do I sign up!” Dave Bautista tweeted in reply to the news.

This past Summer saw James Gunn fired for tweets about rape and pedophilia, which saw the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy respond by backing their director; however, Disney stood by their decision not to rehire Gunn.

That didn’t stop Dave Bautista from voicing his thoughts in disagreement, as the Drax-actor even offered he would quit working for Disney and Marvel.

“Yeah, there is a bit of an issue,” Dave Bautista responded to being asked if he might not do Guardians of the Galaxy 3. “It’s a bitter sweet conversation. No. It’s a bitter, bitter conversation because I’m not really happy with what they’ve done with James Gunn. They are putting the movie off. It’s on hold indefinitely,” he said. “To be honest, I don’t know if I want to work for Disney. I’ve been very vocal about the way I feel. I’m not afraid to admit the way I feel.”

Dave Bautista also previously offered that Disney could change what happens in The Avengers 4 because of the Gunn firing.

“It’s kind of a strange situation to be in now where we’ve lost our director for Guardians,” Bautista recently explained. “Guardians 3 is really up in the air, and I don’t know what they’re going to do with it. It’s on permanent hold for now. And that may make a difference in what they do with our characters in Avengers 4. To be honest with you, right now I really don’t know.”

If James Gunn does end up directing Suicide Squad 2 and casts Dave Bautista, which member do you think would be a good match?
