With WB rebooting their Batman universe with Ben Affleck, a hot commodity happens to be Catwoman.
However, it's learned Catwoman doesn't look to be appearing in the DCEU any time soon as Catwoman is not a part of the Ben Afleck Batman movie.
Word comes from the Managing Editor of Fandango on Twitter via actress Sienna Miller that Catwoman is not in the Ben Affleck Batman script.
"Sienna Miller told me tonight that she wants to play Catwoman in Affleck's Batman movie," Erik Davis said.
"'She's not in the script but I wanna write her in!' " Davis quoted Sienna Miller as saying.
How Sienna Miller would know that Catwoman is not in the script is probably because she just finished filming with Ben Affleck on Live By Night. It's probably safe to assume she spoke with Ben Affleck about wanting to play Catwoman in which Affleck told her Catwoman is not in his Batman movie.
It's still possible Catwoman/Selina Kyle could make her way into the DCEU as a Harley Quinn/DC anti-hero female movie is in the works with Margot Robbie.
Anne Hathaway recently played Selina/Catwoman for Christopher Nolan in The Dark Knight Rises. Interestingly enough, Anne Hathaway has also said she would like to play Catwoman again if there was any way to make it work.
"I’m not sure how it would work because I think the Chris Nolan chapter of the Batman story has been wrapped up and I’m part of that, but I love the DC Universe and it would be fun to take a trip back," Hathaway said.
Maybe Anne Hathaway could play a different DC character?
