This Summer sees the big San Diego Comic-Con, which comes with all sorts of big announcements and promotions from the movies, TV, comics and gaming.
Now the DCEU plans are rumored, which happens to include Aquaman, Shazam! Wonder Woman and Batman.
A couple of users on Twitter are offering up that the DCEU plans at Comic-Con include an Aquaman trailer and panel, a Shazam! teaser trailer, a reveal of the Wonder Woman 2 villain, Cheetah, played Kristen Wiig, and the big reveal of Ben Affleck being on stage with Matt Reeves announced for The Batman film.
Most of he Comic-Con rumors are most likely correct as Aquaman, Shazam! and Wonder Woman 2 are the next three DC films, and Matt Reeves has been developing The Batman for a while now.
WB has yet to release the Aquaman trailer, recently showed off a Shazam! teaser and promo art, and also recently started to promote Wonder Woman 2 with the “WW84” image.
WB has already shown off a couple of Aquaman teasers, but the reason no Aquaman trailer has been released is because director James Wan wants the footage to be good enough and ready.
The recent Shazam! footage included Zachary Levi in costume and Mark Strong as Doctor Sivana, and the art featured Zachary Levi as Shazam.
The Wonder Woman 2 promo art that director Patty Jenkins and Geoff Johns posted on social media is a reference to the year the movie is set, as Wonder Woman 2 takes place in the 1980s rumored to be involved with the Cold War.
It’s also been rumored that Ben Affleck has signed on for three more Batman movies and will stick around the DCEU.
Maybe we’ll also get some surprises.
Comic-Con 2018 takes place in San Diego, California from July 18-22.
