Universal is giving audiences an early look at Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
The studio is rolling out an extended 70mm IMAX preview, reinforcing Nolan’s push for large-format filmmaking.

Extended Trailer Premieres in 70mm IMAX
Nolan shot The Odyssey entirely with IMAX cameras, and Universal is positioning 70mm IMAX screens as the ideal way to experience the film.
A six-minute prologue will begin playing on December 12 before the IMAX 70mm screening re-releases of Sinners and One Battle After Another.
The preview is described as an extended trailer, offering the most substantial look at the film so far.

Shorter Preview to Accompany Avatar: Fire and Ash
Universal will expand the rollout on December 19. A shorter version of The Odyssey preview will play ahead of all screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash.
The full extended trailer will continue running exclusively in IMAX showings of the James Cameron film.
The move positions Nolan’s adaptation for maximum exposure during one of December’s biggest releases, while giving IMAX audiences a premium first look.
