What is Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc about?
Nothing official has been announced but the new anime movie will be following the “Reze Arc” from the popular Manga.
The “Reze Arc” in Chainsaw Man revolves around the character Reze, a devil hunter from another country who initially appears to be romantically involved with Denji, the protagonist. The arc delves into their relationship and Reze’s hidden identity, revealing significant plot twists and conflicts. Without giving away too much, the arc explores themes of trust, betrayal, and Denji’s emotional growth as he navigates the complexities of his connection with Reze. It’s an intense and pivotal arc in the series, packed with action, revelations, and character development.
The Chainsaw Man anime series also debuted last year on Crunchyroll. The series follows Denji as a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man” — a man with a devil’s heart.
