Carrie Fisher’s Mom Debbie Reynolds Dies At 84

Update: It's reported Debbie Reynolds has passed away at the age of 84.

"She wanted to be with Carrie," Reynolds' son, Todd Fisher, told Variety.

Following the death of Carrie Fisher, it's learned her mother, actress Debbie Reynolds, may have suffered a possible stroke.

News outlets are reporting that Debbie Reynolds has been rushed to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency.

Debbie Reynolds, 84, lost her daughter Carrie Fisher Tuesday after the Princess Leia actress suffered a heart attack on Friday last week.

TMZ is stating Debbie Reynolds was planning her daughter's funeral at her son Todd Fisher's home in Beverly Hills and may have suffered a stroke. It's further reported Debbie Reynolds has been distraught since Carrie Fisher went into cardiac arrest last Friday. The LA times reports Debbie Reynolds was sent to the hospital after complaining of breathing problems.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirms to USA Today that they transfported an adult female to Cedars-Sinai Hospital who is in "fair to serious condition." 

Debbie Reynolds is known for 1952's  Singin' in the Rain, 1962's How the West Was Won and 1956's Bundle of Joy.
