Breaking Bad has won the Emmy Award for Best Outstanding Drama beating out the likes of Game Of Thrones, House of Cards, Downtown Abbey, Homeland and Man Men.

Earlier in the show saw Anna Gun win the Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama, her first. Gunn plays wife to Bryan Cranston’s Walter White with Skyler.

Bryan Cranston didn’t win the best lead actor award in a drama series, which went to Jeff Daniels of HBO’s Newsroom.

Likewise, Aaron Paul didn’t win for best supporting actor, which went to Boardwalk Empire’s Bobby Cannavale.

This year saw Breaking Bad nab 13 Emmy nominations with a total of 42 to date.

As the finale season of Breaking Bad is currently airing, you can expect Breaking Bad to be up for numerous Emmy Awards next year, as well.
