Black Lightning TV Series Said To Film Soon

It’s being said the DC and Fox Black Lightning series will begin filming in March in New Orleans.

According to a casting website list dated January 27th, the pilot for Black Lightning will have a March, 2017 shoot date and is listed as a drama.

A couple of weeks ago saw it become known that Fox and DC are fully committed to the Black Lightning TV series, which will be the first broadcast series starring an African-American superhero.

Black Lighting was created back in 1977 by Tony Isabella and Trevor Von Eeden. The character’s powers, in the comics, include the ability to generate and magnify electro-magnetic phenomena and generate force fields.

Assuming the shooting date is correct, look for the Black Lightning TV series to debut on Fox next Fall or early winter.
