Ben Mendelsohn is said to possibly be up for a role in the Star Wars: Rogue One spinoff movie.
According to THR, Mendelsohn’s name was circling amongst executives, though it’s unclear if a deal will come about as a result.
Mendelsohn stars in the new Bloodlines Netflix series, which is receiving rave reviews.
The actor was also featured in The Dark Knight Rises and Exodus: Gods and Kings.
Star Wars: Rogue One has a December 16, 2016 release directed by Gareth Edwards starring Felicity Jones with a script written by Chris Weitz.
It’s been suggested Disney may be announcing news on the movie at next month’s Star Wars Celebration.
