Batman, Harry Potter, and a lot more movies are coming to the NBC Peacock streaming service which recently launched on July 15.
While the news may seem odd with Warner Bros. launching their own HBO Max streaming service in May, in regards to Harry Potter, the move of all eight movies to NBC Peacock in October comes about because of a deal struck back in 2016 that that gave NBC the television and digital rights to the franchise through 2025.
We can also guess a similar deal was struck for the first two Christopher Nolan Batman movies, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, as well as flicks such as The Conjuring, Catwoman, and more.
As we see from the list below, Universal also struck a similar deal as Hulk, Fast and Furious, and more also come to NBC Peacock.
It’s also probably safe to say none of these movies will air on Netflix. Check out the official announcement below.

PEACOCK TO STREAM ALL EIGHT HARRY POTTER FILMS
NEW YORK, NY – August 5, 2020 – Peacock today announced all eight Harry Potter films will be available to stream in windows over the next six months starting later this year and into 2021. The movie adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s famed series ranked as the highest-grossing film franchise in history and are a fantastic addition to Peacock’s growing library of iconic films.
