It’s learned the new Batmobile broke down while filming for The Batman took place in the U.K.
A cosplayer reveals details and pics as the cosplayer actually answered the call to help when Robert Pattinson’s Batmobile broke down and burned out its clutch and had to be pushed.
“They burnt the clutch out during the filming of this shot. The car’s clutch began to smoke so they asked for volunteers to push the car. Yours truly came to the rescue,” tweeted David Menzies Cosplay.
The scene is also said to involve Gotham Orphanage.
“So, the abandoned asylum (Heartwood) was being used as Gotham Orphanage. The shot is a simple side view of Batman slowly passing the Orphanage sign then panning right to reveal a rugged down Gotham Orphanage building. That was the shot for that days work,” states the tweet.
Check out pics below, and as noted, The Batman would have been released today, but now the flick is slated for a March 4, 2022 release; Matt Reeves is the director.
