First Look At Bane In Gotham Season 5

Check out a first look at Bane in the upcoming Gotham Season 5.

Actor Shane West (Nikita, Salem) plays the version of Bane on Gotham, which looks just a bit different than the comic book version as well as Tom Hardy from The Dark Knight Rises.

Bane will be introduced as Eduardo Dorrance, a former Army friend of Jim Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie), who is gradually transformed into the supervillain.

We can see they are obviously going with a cyberpunk look for the show.

Gotham showrunner John Stephens describes Bane as “very, very strong, and very angry … we made him integral to the fact of coming in as a special ops government agent.”

Details for Season 5 include that it continue the “No Man’s Land” storyline from the comics, where Gotham City is isolated by the U.S. government from the rest of the country, and that Batman will appear.

Gotham returns in 2019.
