Avengers 5 Fan Poster Teases Secret Wars

The Great Titan Thanos just killed off half the Marvel superheroes in Infinity War, Avengers 4 has yet be released, yet some fans are already looking ahead to The Avengers 5 — as check out the following fan poster teasing Secret Wars!

The Avengers 5 fan poster features Doctor Doom, John Krasinski as Reed Richards and Emily Blunt as Sue Storm of the Fantastic Four, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Ant-Man and Wasp, Black Panther, Spider-Man wearing a purple-colored suit, and Brie Larson as Captain Marvel!

The Avengers 5 poster also teases a release date for April 27, which would probably be for Thursday, April 27, 2023 as 2024 is a leap year.

Cool poster (via a redditor), but the only thing missing are the X-Men! With Disney recently purchasing Fox Studios, in addition to the Fantastic Four, they now have the X-Men, which includes Wolverine, Deadpool, X-Force, Cable and all the related characters.

The Avengers 5

Regarding The Avengers 5, Disney CEO Bob Iger recently said it is a possibility.

“We meet on a regular basis with our Marvel team, and we’ve plotted out Marvel movies that will take us well into the next decade,” Iger said on a Disney conference call. “I’m guessing we will try our hand at what I’ll call a new franchise beyond Avengers, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t see more Avengers down the road. We just haven’t made any announcements about that.”

Regarding The Avengers 5 being a potential Secret Wars movie is unknown, but Joe and Anthony Russo recently offered they would like to do a movie based on the classic comic storyline (meaning the original and not the most recent one from Marvel Comics).

“We’ll say if the Fox deal goes through with Disney there’s a lot more characters to work with all of a sudden,” Joe Russo said. “It would be interesting to do something like Secret Wars…”
