With The Avengers: Infinity War now out, attention is being turned toward The Avengers 4.
Last we saw of the Avengers, half were killed off leaving the original members having survived along with Guardians of the Galaxy’s Rocket Raccoon.
Now a potential huge spoiler about The Avengers 4 may have become known in a promo interview with Gwyneth Paltrow from an Avengers: Infinity War magazine.
Gwyneth Paltrow is asked, “Whereabouts are Pepper and Tony in terms of their relationship now?”
“Pepper and Tony have had a real long journey together,” Paltrow replies. “She obviously starts as his dutiful assistant, and then the relationship evolves, and now this decade later they’re married, and they have a child. Their relationship has evolved in all of the ways that great romances evolve.”

As we all know, The Avengers: Infinity War didn’t show Tony and Pepper to be married or have a child, but mention was made about a child in Tony’s dream. Now it’s possible the script could have changed and the interview took place prior to The Avengers: Infinity War being finished–or maybe in Avengers 4, Pepper and Tony do have a child together. Perhaps Tony’s dream becomes a reality through use of the Infinity Gauntlet or maybe events in Avengers 4 take place some time in the future?
Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first spoiler possibly dropped by Gwyneth Paltrow for The Avengers 4, as she released an image of herself hinting at use of the Rescue Armor from the comics, as the pic showed her legs covered in motion-capture material, which we now know would be for Avengers 4 as the scene didn’t make its way into Infinity War.
