Jesse Eisenberg Won’t Confirm If He’s Bald In Batman Vs. Superman

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18854:]]

Now in an interview with Variety, Eisenberg is directly asked if he had a shaved head, but of course, Eisenberg can’t say much.

“I can’t say anything about this stuff. They want all this to be a surprise,” Eisenberg said.

Avengers 2 Is The Biggest Thing Marvel Has Done Says Paul Bettany

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18853:]]

Paul Bettany is going from voicing Jarvis to playing the Vision in The Avengers 2, and now says it’s the “biggest thing that Marvel have ever done.”

While speaking with the Radio Times, Bettany offered his take on being involved in the movie.

“I’ve never been on a bigger set on my entire life than [Age of Ultron],” Bettany said. “One [part] seemed to be the corner of a town, with helicopter cameras, and drone cameras flying about. I just haven’t seen anything that big, so it was like being a kid on a film set again.”

Paul Bettany recounts being a part of the big Hall H announcement for Avengers 2 at this past Summer’s Comic-Con, and even offers that Samuel L. Jackson was impressed.

“This is the biggest thing Marvel have ever done,” Bettany continued. “It was enormous. I remember, we were at Comic-con, and they showed a portion of the footage, and I was just gobsmacked. And I looked down the row and every one of the Avengers was the same. Including Samuel Jackson – and his whole modus operandi is ‘I’ve seen everything before, I’m the most chilled out, relaxed man and I’ve seen everything…’and he was as knocked out as anyone. It’s huge.”

“The Avengers: Age Of Ultron” hits May 1, 2015 directed by Joss Whedon starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, Paul Bettany as Vision, with James Spader as Ultron.

Synopsis:

When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Scoot McNairy Talks Batman Vs. Superman

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18852:]]

The internet was ablaze when the first set images of Scoot McNairy hit the net from Batman Vs. Superman revealing McNairy wearing CGI-socks.

Is Scoot McNairy playing Jimmy Olsen? Nightwing? Jason Todd? Metallo? And what’s with the socks? Does that mean Scoot McNairy’s character is possibly missing his legs (cut off by The Joker)?

While we still don’t know the identify of McNairy’s character, the actor recently spoke with USA Today about Batman Vs. Superman. Obviously Scoot McNairy can’t offer much, but he does offer it was an emotional experience and also lots of fun.

Man, I would love to spend hours with you about it but I don’t know if you’d see me in another movie if I did.”

“It’s definitely 100% a character I’ve never played and I can’t speak too freely on it, but yeah, getting into that thing was definitely something I had to wrap my head around emotionally in order to play that character. But with that being said, I had a lot of fun doing it when I was in the process of shooting on it — my head was in a different place but I’m really excited to see how it turns out and what they do with it and see the film.”

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.

More Evidence For Grey Hulk In Avengers 2

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18851:]]

A couple of days ago saw a grey-colored Hulk toy surface for The Avengers 2 leading to speculation Mr. Fixit could appear in the movie.

Of course, the grey color could just be a variant –  to sell more merchandise – but do we already have evidence of the Grey Hulk in The Avengers 2?

Look no futher than The Avengers 2 trailer as we see what appears to be a grey-colored Hulk fighting Hulkbuster Iron Man.

Internet speculation already has it that Mr. Fixit comes out as a result of Scarlet Witch casting a hex on the Hulk.

We do see Hulk’s eyes appear to be red. Does grey follow? With Tony Stark matching the Hulk’s strength with the Hulkbuster armor, does Grey Hulk outwit (as he is known to do in the comics) Iron Man to defeat him? Or is it just a coloring oddity?

Thomas Jane Done With Punisher

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18845:]]

The ship has sailed for Thomas Jane and The Punisher.

While speaking with I Am Rogue, Thomas Jane was asked if he was in talks with Marvel to reprise as Frank Castle, with Jane offering the following:

I feel like I’ve done it. That’s why I did the short film. I wanted to create something that was truer to my own vision of what that movie could be. I feel like I put that out there. It was really well received. I hope that The Punisher will continue. I hope they get an idea of what it can be and how to make it successful. I hope that they use that short film as a template for how to make it truer to what that character is. I feel like I’ve done it even though it was a short film. I said what I wanted to say with that guy. I don’t think I ever really was the perfect Frank Castle.

I look at him as Italian. A guy who, I guess I’m the right age now, but I would see him as a weathered guy. My body is not quite perfect for Frank. I would see Frank as more of a square jawed, lock-jawed kind of guy. I don’t know who it would be. I think you’d need an unknown to play Frank. He’s really the ideal asshole!

Thomas Jane portrayed the Punisher in the 2004 film which grossed over $54 million on a $33 million budget.

While Thomas Jane may no longer be The Punisher, the rights are back at Marvel and Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight recently revealed that he would like to do a Punisher series. Maybe it’s even possible we’ll see Frank Castle in one of the Netflix shows?

Thomas Jane currently stars in Vice and also has The Expanse coming out this year for SyFy.

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18838:]]

CBS announced that Melissa Benoist has been cast as Supergirl.

Benoist is known for Glee and Whiplash.

Supergirl sees Kara Zor-El, cousin to Superman, having escaped the destruction of Krypton and arriving on Earth where she is taken in by a foster family, the Danvers, who are aware of her super powers and teach her to be careful using them.

An unexpected disaster forces her to use her powers in public. Energized by her heroic deed, for the first time in her life, Kara begins embracing her extraordinary abilities. Sinister Six Said To Be Happening; Spider-Man Might Not Be At Marvel

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18836:]]

A pair of interesting tweets, which have since been deleted, surfaced stating the Sinister Six movie is happening.

A resident of Vancouver tweeted, “It seems the @SinisterSix movie is going to shoot in Vancouver. I might see Spider-Man running around my hood! I’ll eat sand to be an extra.”

The Twitter user apparently got confirmation about Sinister Six from someone who worked on Planet of the Apes.

@Mugsyface dude who worked on Planet of the Apes and used our stock for it came back. Requested S6 stuff for research. Said it was happening.”

The news of Sony moving forward on Sinister Six brings up the question whether or not Spider-Man is back at Marvel.

According to leaked e-mails from back around November, Sony and Marvel were in talks for Spider-Man to return to Marvel.

The e-mails revealed that if Spider-Man returned to Marvel, Sony would be fast-tracking a new Spider-Man solo movie, and also that Sinister Six was up in the air.

A Spider-Man summit was also said to be held this month to determine the future of Spider-Man at Sony.

It’s possible with this news of Sony filming Sinister Six in Vancouver, that Sony is following their original plans to go with a Sinister Six movie first, possibly followed by Venom, a female superhero Spider-Man character film, and then Amazing Spider-Man 3.

In addition, both Sony and Marvel have recently denied rumors that Spider-Man is back at Marvel, with Sony stating the rumors had “no validity whatsoever” and Marvel seemingly being surprised by the latest rumors.

Jake Gyllenhaal Passes On Suicide Squad, Too

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18832:]]

Following Tom Hardy’s departure from the Suicide Squad movie, Jake Gyllenhaal was said to be big favorite to replace Hardy and play Rick Flagg.

Now it’s learned that Jake Gyllenhaal has passed on the role as well, as reported by Variety.

According to rumor, it was stated Tom Hardy passed because he didn’t like the script, which didn’t give him enough screentime. It was also said more room in the script was written for Will Smith and Jared Leto.

No reason was given for Jake Gyllenhaal not wanting to be a part of the movie, but we can guess he wasn’t thrilled with the script as well.

It might even be possible that Rick Flagg gets killed off in the movie, as this is the Suicide Squad and members are known to die off rather quickly (at least in the comics).

While David Ayer looks to find Tom Hardy’s replacement, Suicide Squad will star Jared Leto as The Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Viola Davis is said to be in talks to play Amanda Waller; Jesse Eisenberg is rumored to follow his Batman vs. Superman debut as Lex Luthor, and most recently, Ben Affleck is rumored to appear as Batman.

Suicide Squad has an August 6, 2016 release.

Fantastic Four’s Kate Mara Up For Star Wars Spinoff

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18831:]]

Kate Mara, known for House of Cards and who also will be playing Sue Storm in the Fantastic Four reboot, is said to be up for the Gareth Edwards Star Wars spinoff movie.

Four names have surfaced for the Star Wars spinoff female lead, which also include Rooney Mara (sister to Kate), Felicity Jones, and Tatiana Maslany.

A reporter for Variety is stating Kate Mara is the fourth.

Nothing is known about the character or even what Edwards’ Star Wars spinoff will be about.

Recently, Gary Whitta left as the screenwriter following having worked on the movie for a year; Simon Kinberg is now finishing the script.

Various rumors have stated the Gareth Edwards Star Wars spinoff may be about the Rebels securing the plans to the Death Star with a bunch of bounty hunters involved, while another rumor has said it could be a Han Solo origin story with Aaron Paul as the younger version of Harrison Ford.

The Gareth Edwards Star Wars spinoff is due out December 2016 so as soon as production is set to start, Disney should be releasing official information and making announcements.

Kate Mara has Fantastic Four coming out this August, Ridley Scott’s The Martian in November, and assuming Fantastic Four does well enough, Fantastic Four 2 in 2017.

Captain America: Civil War Is Avengers 3.8 Says Anthony Mackie

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18830:]]

Last week saw Anthony Mackie confirm Falcon for Captain America: Civil War and state filming starts in April.

Recently also saw confirmation that Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan will reprise as Black Widow and the Winter Soldier, respectively, on top of Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.

Now the latest is that while speaking in a recent interview, Mackie says Captain America: Civil War is “Avengers 3.8.”

“Let’s just say it’s a wing-ding-doozy of a time,” Mackie offered reports Collider.  “The great thing about it is, after seeing The Avengers I joked and said Captain America 2 was Avengers 1.5.  Now with Avengers 2 coming out… Captain America 3 is so far beyond Avengers 2.5 and onto the realm of Avengers 3.8.  It’s by far one of the most stupendous rides Marvel has put together.”

While Marvel has yet to officially announce the plot, Captain America: Civil War will find Captain America at odds with Iron Man for some reason, with heroes taking sides and facing off.

David Duchovny Up For More X-Files

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18829:]]

Three days ago saw word from Fox executives that they are planning on reviving X-Files.

Now David Duchovny says he is onboard for more episodes, but does state he would rather have it be a limited series than a full season.

Duchovny told USA Today he’s “more than happy and excited to bring it back and do it again with (co-star) Gillian (Anderson) and (series creator) Chris (Carter).”

“I’m assuming that it will happen sooner rather than later now,” Duchovny continued. “We’ll see what form, how many (episodes). Certainly I can’t nor would I be interested in doing a full season. It will be in some kind of limited form. We’re all old, we don’t have the energy for a full season,” he added with a laugh.

News of a limited series, or even how about an X-Files made-for-TV movie, sounds about right as David Duchovny is also starring in a new NBC series with Aquarius.

Likewise, Duchovny’s X-Files co-star, Gillian Anderson, is currently involved with NBC’s Hannibal.

The definitive DLC offering, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Havoc includes four new, epic multiplayer maps, access to the versatile AE4 directed energy assault rifle, the AE4 Widowmaker custom variant, plus an exciting new Zombies cooperative mode called Exo Zombies, that features a story told through the eyes of four employees of the Atlas corporation, played by a celebrity cast consisting of John Malkovich (In the Line of Fire, RED, Burn After Reading), Bill Paxton (Aliens, Titanic, Edge of Tomorrow), Rose McGowan (Planet Terror, Scream), and Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Walking Dead). The actors provide their voice over and likeness in a dark and cinematic experience new to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Players enter a world where a DNA bioweapon unexpectedly spawns a bloodthirsty, ravenous mutant horde infecting an entire secret Atlas research facility and sending personnel running for their lives. Following a failed evacuation, four survivors, un-trained and underprepared, must face the most vicious mutations ever unleashed. The Exo Zombies co-op mode ushers in a new breed of Zombies and a truly unique experience, coming first to the Havoc DLC Pack.

Havoc delivers four new, exotic and diverse multiplayer maps set around the globe tailor-made for players to unleash their exoskeleton’s abilities, including—

·  Core: Deploy to the Gobi desert where the ravaged ruins of a nuclear fusion plant set the stage for a high-octane warzone. Take down enemies through the wreckage in long-range combat or get up-close and personal in the tunnels surrounding the central turbine. Activate decontamination drones using the map-based scorestreak to help clean out the competition.

·  Urban: Prepare yourself for brutal, high-speed combat in Dallas Ward 3, a future mega structure, funneling players into a close-quarters free-for-all. This modular compound’s verticality unleashes the exoskeleton’s capabilities. Stay focused during the timed event as blast doors alter the map’s flow and sightlines.

·  Sideshow: In the shadow of Devil’s Tower, Wyoming, this abandoned inn’s open layout amplifies its creep factor. Blast your way through the clown inn with close-quarters battles or use long-range site-lines from the mining facilities and natural terrain. Use the map-based scorestreak to activate the lights, music, and magic of the clown marquee and rain down a barrage of rainbow smoke-trailed cannonballs.

·  Drift: An idyllic ski resort high in the Rocky Mountains is transformed into a festive high-altitude playground, perfect for an all-out firefight. Make your way to the highly contested over watch in the glass observation deck or take a ride on the carousel to deliver 360 degrees of carnage. Players can use the map-altering timed event to their advantage as an avalanche of snow and debris disorients players, intensifying the battle.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Havoc will be available first, exclusively on Xbox LIVE on January 27th.  The Havoc DLC Pack is also included in the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC Season Pass*, where fans can purchase all four epic DLC Packs planned for the year, as part of the discounted bundle. Microsoft Season Pass holders also now have instant access to the Havoc DLC Pack bonus weapons. The AE4 directed energy assault rifle and its custom weapon variant, the AE4 Widowmaker, combine a versatile firing mechanism with all-around movement speed and handling.

*Downloadable content in the Season Pass may be sold separately.  If you purchase the DLC Season Pass, do not also purchase these standalone DLC Map Packs, as you will be charged for them.  DLC Season Pass and DLC Map Packs may not be available on all platforms or in all territories.  Pricing and release dates may vary by platform.  Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game required; sold separately.

Grey Hulk A Possibility In The Avengers 2?

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18823:]]

I would be surprised to see Mr. Fixit in The Avengers 2, but I would love it, and anything from Peter David’s run would make a great standalone Hulk movie.

If what a new toy suggests, it’s possible the Grey Hulk may appear in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

A promotion for the Funko POP! Vinyl Avengers 2 toys features the Grey Hulk, which of course, could just be for the merchandising line, but imagine if at the end of Avengers 2, Banner/Hulk are thought to be dead, and we end up seeing the Grey Hulk in Las Vegas. I know I may be dreaming, but it would be awesome.

The Grey Hulk was actually the first personality/version of the Hulk, but the coloring was changed to green with a different personality. The Grey Hulk is weaker than the Savage Green Hulk, but smarter and more cunning. Marvel Comics writer Peter David brought the Grey Hulk back with Incredible Hulk #324.

Disney Scrapped George Lucas’ New Star Wars Plans

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18824:]]

It’s learned that for the first time, Star Wars will be without George Lucas’ storylines.

Lucas recently attended a premiere for his latest movie, Strange Magic, where he told Cinema Blend, “The ones that I sold to Disney, they came up to the decision that they didn’t really want to do those. So they made up their own. So it’s not the ones that I originally wrote [on screen in Star Wars: The Force Awakens].”

Lucas wouldn’t state what his ideas for the new Star Wars movies were, and it’s also thought that screenwriter Michael Arndt was working on the Lucas version of Star Wars when he was let go, with Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan (Empire Strikes Back) taking over writing chores.

Another rumor has stated that Abrams and Kasdan rewrote the script to include more of the original characters, with Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.

It’s also possible Disney may have saved us all from the next Jar Jar.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has a December 18, 2015 release directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film.
