Marvel released the below infographic featuring the Vision and Thor from The Avengers: Age Of Ultron comparing the two Assemblers.
We see Vision is considered newborn and able to control matter through the power of science while Thor is considered immortal (at least from a mere mortal human’s perspective) and able to control lighting, which is a weapon of the gods.
