Arrow Fans Go Wild & Now Support Marvel's Punisher

The CW recently aired its big Crisis on Earth-X crossover for Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

While I thought it was really awesome, Arrow fans are in an uproar!

The end of Crisis on Earth-X saw Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak decide to get married, which has caused the fans at the Arrow subreddit to actually change it to supporting Marvel's Punisher!

Now the Arrow fans haven't been all that happy with Felicity on the show to begin with, but the marriage thing has pushed them over the edge.

If anyone from the CW network or ARROW writers is reading this, the reason 'ARROW' subreddit has changed to 'PUNISHER', is because well...Arrow is no longer what it used to be. Season 5 was a back to form, but Season 6 is a utter disappointment. The forced Olicity wedding proved the show is for shippers. It's a shame the writers haven't learned their lessons from Season 3 and Season 4, and couldn't let go of the Olicity obsession. Changing the subreddit theme to 'PUNISHER' are the fans way of protesting about the current state of Arrow. Just like how we did it back in ARROW Season 4 Finale, by changing the theme to DAREDEVIL, which received tons of social media attention.

One more important thing which i forgot to previously add, this fan protest isn't because we want a canon GA/BC relationship. The show is it's own thing, this version of Green Arrow is dark and gritty, compared to Comic version. The protest is mainly because the Olicity relationship drags the show quality down, as evident from the terrible reviews of Season 3 and Season 4, and the writers seem firm on keeping that horrible element which brought the show down in S3 & S4. The GA/BC romance hasn't been a thing since Season 1, and guess what, we all loved Season 2 and Season 5.

Arrow fans Support Punisher

I have to agree with them, and it's not just about Arrow, but The Flash and Supergirl as well. The shows have become a feminist stomping ground with jokes about Trump, Iris leading Team Flash when she has no right to be, and the Arrow fans are right as the "Olicity" relationship is simply awful.

So why haven't I included Legends of Tomorrow? It's simply because Caity Lotz's Sara Lance/White Canary is a bad ass and is deserving to be the team's captain.

Iris and Felicity are plain bad (that "girl power" bit was terrible) and the characters either need to be removed from the show or totally rewritten.

I have to say this year has probably been the worst ever for The CW shows for the most part, IMO.
