Witches Back For American Horror Story: Apocalypse

The upcoming season of American Horror Story: Apocalypse sees a crossover between the first season’s “Murder House” and the third season’s “Coven,” and now it’s learned the actresses playing the witches will be back.

Sarah Paulson and Emma Roberts have already been confirmed to be reprising as their respective characters from “Coven” as Cordelia and Madison, with AHS creator Ryan Murphy announcing the others.

“Guess who’s coming back for AHS APOCALYPSE? Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and….Stevie Nicks. So thrilled the family is together again!” Murphy posted on Twitter.

Jessica Lange also returns for American Horror Story: Apocalypse and will return in episode six directed by Paulson.

FX also recently released the first teaser, found below, which teases the Season’s 8 title as its filled with a host of apocalyptic visuals including a baby and a demon. It’s known that the anti-christ baby from the first season will be grown up during American Horror Story: Apocalypse and is being played by American Crime Story and House of Cards actor Cody Fern. Last we saw of the young Michael, he had killed his nanny and fulfilled the medium’s prophecy of being the anti-christ, with Lange’s character (his grandmother) taking care of him.

“It’s the end of the world. It’s the biggest – sh-t! It’s the apocalypse in the truest sense of the word,” Sarah Paulson previously teased.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse premiers September 12 also starring Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson and newcomer Joan Collins.
