Amazing Spider-Man 2 Filming Big Car Chase Scene In Rochester, NY

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:6101:]]Marc Webb will be bringing the Amazing Spider-Man 2 to Rochester, NY, about 45 minutes away from the CBN offices.

It’s reported by Rochester’s Wham.com that due to NYC’s strict speed laws, Amazing Spider-Man 2 needed another location for a car chase scene.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be in Rochester, NY for about 15 days which will bring to the area jobs and a boost to the local economy with it said the production will require 3000 hotel rooms.

Producers from the movie are said to be coming to Rochester tomorrow to scout for locations for scenes for the film which include the high speed chase.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into theaters May 2nd, 2014 directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giammatti, Felicity Jones and Colm Feore.

Synopsis:

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past. The sequel hits theaters on May 2, 2014.
