Storm gets a shaved head for X-Men: Apocalypse.
Director Bryan Singer posted a new image on his Instagram which includes Shipp with a shaved head as well as a look at Sophie Tuner who will play the young Jean Grey.
Regarding why Alexandra Shipp shaved her head, it’s being specualted she may don the Storm mohawk from the comics.
“X-Men: Apocalypse” has a May 27, 2016 release directed by Bryan Singer starring Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Ian McKellen, Rose Byrne, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp and Oscar Issac.
