Absolute Batman is joining LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, with Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta’s Absolute versions of Batman and Catwoman confirmed as playable characters in the new video game.
The new open-world action-adventure game comes from TT Games and Warner Bros. Games and puts players on Bruce Wayne’s journey to becoming Gotham City’s hero.
The title pulls from decades of Batman movies, TV shows, comics, and games, while mixing in DC lore and the usual LEGO humor.

Absolute Batman joins the roster
The addition gives fans a chance to play as the Absolute incarnations of Batman and Catwoman from the popular comic by Scott Snyder and artist Nick Dragotta.
The game also lets players choose from different skins for Batman, Catwoman, and other characters pulled from across the Dark Knight’s long history in media.
Scott Snyder reacts
Snyder said he is excited to see the characters make the jump from comics to the game.
“As a longtime, diehard fan of the Lego videogames, I’m so thrilled and honored to see Absolute Batman and Absolute Catwoman included in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight (alongside so many other amazing iterations)!” Snyder said in a statement to THR. “I can’t wait for fans to see Absolute Bruce brought to life as only Lego games can!”
Nick Dragotta comments
Dragotta also reacted to the reveal and joked about the character’s LEGO look.
“So cool to see Absolute Batman and Absolute Catwoman be a part of the new Lego Batman videogame and join the legacy,” Dragotta said. “Now we know where this bat brickhouse gets his bricks!”
