The Marvel’s Midnight Suns video game currently in development suffers a delay as its release has been pushed back.
Firaxis Games, the studio behind the game, posted an update on Twitter on Wednesday with mention that the game will not be released in the Spring of 2022, but in the second half of 2022.
“We decided to share that we’ve made the very tough decision to move our launch window to the second half of 2022,” said Jake Solomon, Creative Director, and Garth DeAngelis, Senior Franchise Producer, of Firaxis Games in a joint statement. “We decided to push our launch because we need more to make this the best game possible. We believe in our creative vision for Marvel’s Midnight Suns and want to do justice in delivering an unforgettable adventure set in the supernatural side of Marvel. These extra months will be used to add more story, cinematics and overall polish and will be essential in helping us make our vision a reality.”

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a new tactical RPG
News of the delay follows the recent trailer released last month which offered a look at the characters and footage including Wolverine, Ghost Rider, and Blade.
Details for Marvel’s Midnight Suns include that it will be released by the 2k Games and feature a newly created protagonist for the game, The Hunter, described as “the first customizable original hero in the Marvel Universe.”
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a new tactical RPG set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe, putting you face-to-face against demonic forces of the underworld as you team up with and live among the Midnight Suns, Earth’s last line of defense.
