While there has been speculation and rumor of a Star Wars: Episode IX trailer,  it is being reported Disney doesn’t plan on releasing a trailer at the Big Game.

According to Deadline, they are hearing no Star Wars: Episode IX Super Bowl trailer will be released. The site offers the thinking by Disney is that they can release a teaser anytime they want to create buzz and don’t need the Super Bowl. In addition, the movie doesn’t get released until December.

It is confirmed that Disney has reserved multiple spots for the Super Bowl, with trailers likely for Captain Marvel (March 8), Avengers: Endgame (April 26), Dumbo (March 29), Aladdin (May 24) and Toy Story 4 (June 21).

Other Super Bowl trailers include Universal releasing a teaser for the Dwayne Johnson Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw spinoff; Paramount releasing a pre-game spot for its Nickelodeon Movies animated feature Wonder Park; with Sony and Warner Bros. skipping out on any teasers, which means no trailers for Spider-Man: Far From Home or Shazam! (WB doesn’t release Super Bowl spots).

It’s stated it is unclear if Fox Studios will be releasing a Super Bowl trailer, though potential trailers could include Alita: Battle Angel (Feb. 14) or X-Men title Dark Phoenix (June 7).
