Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle passes Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man as Sony’s biggest movie ever.

The new Jumanji movie has made a whopping $950.8 million at the box office, and it even blew by Star Wars: The Last Jedi for consecutive weeks at the top of the box office.

Dwayne Johnson posted the following video on Instagram announcing the news, which includes they are actively working on a sequel that was previously announced.

“It’s official: Last night you made JUMANJI, Sony’s biggest movie ever. EVER. Previous record held by SpiderMan,” Johnson posted. “My #1 goal is always giving the audience what they want and always sending ya home happy. Working on the sequel now, so bye bye @kevinhart4real’s character.”

Numbers for Jumanji include that it brought in $403.7 million in the U.S., with a $547 million international gross.

The movie’s Rotten Tomatoes score is at 76% with 88% of the audience stating they liked it.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle also stars Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Nick Jonas.

Details for the sequel are said to include that the cast will be back along with director Jake Kasdan with a script written by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner.
