Following Gore Verbinski jumping on board the Gambit movie as the director, now the X-Men film has a release date.
Gambit has a February 14, 2019 release date, which is the same release date the Deadpool movie had last year and was a huge success.
Channing Tatum will star as Remy LeBeau, aka Gambit, the mutant who has the ability to convert the potential energy into kinetic energy often using energy-charged playing cards as projectiles.
Channing Tatum is also on board Gambit as producer in addition to Reid Carolin, and X-Men’s Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg. Josh Zetumer (Patriot’s Day, RoboCop, The Infamous) wrote the script.
Rumors for the Gambit movie include James Bond’s Daniel Craig as Mr. Sinister and that it will be a heist film.
