It’s been quite a couple of days for the DCEU as news of a Joker origins movie outside the DCEU was released, in addition to Matt Reeves’ The Batman possibly existing outside the DCEU and being a standalone film; then followed the recent news of a Harley Quinn and Joker movie, which is separate from Gotham City Sirens.
Now it’s learned the latest ideas for Justice League Dark have been scrapped, and it’s back to square one.
A reporter for Variety tweeted out that the WB execs didn’t like the presentations for Justice League Dark, so it’s back to work on the script.

Back in June saw THR state that Justice League Dark was going to be one of the next DC movies along with Batgirl.
According to reports, following Doug Liman leaving Justice League Dark, It movie director Andrés Muschietti is being eyed to helm.
Justice League Dark follows the supernatural characters of the DC Universe including Constantine, Swamp Thing, The Demon, Deadman and Zatanna.
