The Dwayne Johnson Rampage movie is now filming as producer Hiram Garcia tweeted out the news.
Dwayne Johnson is said to be playing an animal-loving hero who is the world’s only hope; Joe Manganiello is said to be playing the leader of a private military group; Jeffrey Dean Morgan is playing Agent Russell, who works for a covert government division called OGA and rolls with serious swagger and attitude; Mary Shelton is said to play a scientist and astronaut, and Naomie Harris is on board as a geneticist with a moral streak.
Similar to the video game, the Rampage movie sees three giant monsters wreaking havoc across North America, with Dwayne Johnson the only hope of stopping them.
Rampage has an April 20, 2018 release directed by Brad Peyton also starring Malin Akerman, Jake Lacy, PJ Byrne, Jack Quaid, Matt Gerald and Breanne Hill.
