Walking out of Suicide Squad, I couldn't help but think I had already seen the movie, and then it hit me: Ghostbusters!
While Suicide Squad did well at the box office, it was panned by the critics and any true (wink! wink!) fan realizes the end of the movie and the villain were just plain terrible.
Just think how well Suicide Squad would have done if it didn't rip off Gozer the Gozerian? In addition, if Suicide Squad didn't rip off Ghostbusters with its spooktacular ending and villain, Suicide Squad would have been allowed to show in China and would have made even more money (the Chinese ban spirits, witches, etc. in their movies). On top of that, concept art revealed a much cooler ending, but WB #failed and for whatever reason went a different way.
Now a YouTuber has went out an put together a list of twenty-four reasons why Ghostbusters and the Suicide Squad film are the same movie, and they use the new GB reboot as evidence (which was even worse than the Suicide Squad flick). Check it out:
