Did you happen to notice anything familiar while watching Doctor Strange?
Well, you are not alone as many people online are pointing out the fact that the Doctor Strange music score sounds a lot like the theme music from the new Star Trek movies.
It’s probably not a coincidence, either, as the films were composed by Michael Giacchino, who is also composing the music for Marvel’s upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Have a listen below to each of the scores followed by both the Doctor Strange and Star Trek music combined.
Michael Giacchino is also scoring Star Wars: Rogue One, War for the Planet of the Apes and is known for Jurassic World and The Incredibles.
“Doctor Strange” is release directed by Scott Derrickson starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mads Mikkelsen.
