Update: Michael Giacchino confirms composing Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Spider-Man: Homecoming has apparently found its composer with Michael Giacchino who recently scored Doctor Strange and Star Trek Beyond.

The news comes via Reddit as a Redditor recently attended a screening of Doctor Strange where Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige let it slip that Michael Giacchino is composing Spider-Man: Homecoming.

“We announced that right? I really hope we announced that,” Kevin Feige is quoted as saying at the event.

The Redditor also mentioned he attends USC and that Kevin Feige is an alumnus who regularly screens Marvel movies at the college.

Michael Giacchino will also be composing War for the Planet of the Apes, The Incredibles 2, Star Wars: Rogue One and is known for a host other movies including Zootopia, Jurassic World, Up, and The Incredibles.

Kevin Feige at USC:

I got to ask USC alum, Mr. Kevin Feige, some questions about the Marvel Cinematic Universe's connection to our modern history. In summation, possibly the greatest moment in my educational and professional career occurred on this day, November 3rd. #uscschoolofcinematicarts #kevinfeige #drstrange
