The Dark Knight Rises (2012): Talia Al Ghul Confirmed

the dark knight rises marion cotillard Not really a surprise if you have been following everything The Dark Knight Rises related.

However, just how that news came about is quite the shocker – from the mother of an eight year old girl.

Eight year old Leilah De Meza recently made her big screen debut along side Roger Moore, starring in Christmas at Castlebury Hall, a Hallmark Channel movie. It was revealed that the eight year old was up for the part of a young Talia Al Ghul; however, in order to get the part, the girl, Leilah De Meza, had to shave her head bald.

Well, her mother objected to that.

“After careful consideration we turned it down as they were insistent that Leilah had to shave all her hair off,” Paula De Meza told the Surry Commet. “We were prepared to have it cut short but not shaved at such a young age. We were concerned how this could have affected Leilah’s confidence and general social welfare.”

It has long been speculated that Marion Cotillard’s character, Miranda Tate, is actually the daughter of Liam Neeson’s Ra’s Al Ghul, with this recent information coming to light, it seems a sure bet.

In addition, set pictures have shown Miranda Tate to seemingly be up to no good (see above-right).

We’ve also been told that Tate is indeed, Talia Al Ghul, as well in some spoilers.
